Charlotte Juanita Davis

Charlotte Juanita Davis, 77, of Searcy, passed away May 24, 2017. Charlotte was born October 4, 1939 to the late James Harvey Cotton and Neoma Johnson Cotton. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, David Cotton; a sister, Francis Farrell; and her first husband, Jack Barley. She is survived by her husband, William Davis; two sons, Dennis Barley of Searcy and Brian Barley (Tammy) of Jonesboro; a daughter, Carmen Baker (Les) of Marshall, Texas. She is also survived by a brother, Larry Cotton (Joyce) of Blytheville, Arkansas and three sisters, Linda Lilly (Ken) of Starkville, Mississippi, Rheta Cotton of Bainbridge Island, Washington, and Regina Crosby of Houston, Texas. Charlotte also has two grandsons, three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. Charlotte worked many years as a top realtor for Coldwell Banker Real Estate Agency in Searcy. She was a wonderful wife, mom, and Nana and was dearly loved by her family and all who know her. A loving Christian, she lived her faith in God every day. Visitation will be Friday, May 26 from 6-8 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home at 2602 W. Beebe-Capps Expressway in Searcy.
