Bruce Edward McKinnon

Bruce Edward McKinnon, 73 of Warren, Ark., formerly of Camden, Ark. passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark. surrounded by loved ones. He was born August 2, 1943 in El Dorado, Ark. to H.G. and Lettie Grace Lewis McKinnon. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Camden. He received his Master of Education from Southern Arkansas University and was the former head football coach at Fairview High School and athletic director and head football coach at Camden High School. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert McKinnon; and sister, Betty Sue Carter. He was survived by his wife, Brenda Williams McKinnon of Warren, Ark.; son, Brian McKinnon and wife, Tammy of Arlington, Tenn.; daughter, Megan McKinnon of Atlanta, Ga.; brothers, Daniel McKinnon and Jerry McKinnon of Shreveport, La.; Morris McKinnon of Wesson, Ark. and Dr. Thomas McKinnon of Fayetteville, Ark.; sister, Billie Jean Loftin of Shreveport, La.; and grandchildren, Brooke Ashton McKinnon and Tyler William McKinnon. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Proctor Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Harrison officiating.
