Leonard "Benny" Olsen

Leonard "Benny" Olsen, 89, of Beebe, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017. He was born October 12, 1928 in Las Vegas, Nevada to the late Leonard Elmer and Lida Olsen. Benny served in the United States Army and he worked as a commercial fisherman. He loved old silent movies, to hunt and fish, and to talk about war stories. Benny was preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Black. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mary Jo; daughter, Shari Bevill (Jerrell); granddaughters, Nicole Herndon (Brandon), Alana Carpenter, and great-granddaughter, Vanesa Herndon.
