Charles T. Herring

Reverend Charles T. "Mickey" Herring, age 84, of Haskell, Arkansas, formerly of White Hall, passed away Monday, November 6, 2017, at his home. He was born October 15, 1933, in Pine Bluff, to Robert C. Herring, Sr. and Minnie E. Hildersheim Herring. He was reared and educated in White Hall, graduating from White Hall High School. Reverend Mickey Herring had pastored churches in Dumas, Newport and Mena, Arkansas. Besides pastoring he was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. His greatest joy was calling ducks and turkeys. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie A. Croft Herring; a son, Stan Herring; his parents and a brother, Billy L. Herring. Survivors include his sons, Tommy W. Herring of Haskell, Carl R. Herring of Haskell, Stephen L. Herring; grandchildren, Charles Herring, III, Steve Herring Jr., Carl Herring, Jr., Ashlea Kennedy, Tiffany Nelson, Lacey Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Emaelee Nelson, Addyson Kennedy, Ella Kennedy, Dutch Nelson, Collyn Sullivan; brothers, Robert C. Herring, Jr. and Jimmy E. Herring Sr. Visitation will be Friday, November 10, 2017, 12 to 1 p.m., at White Hall United Pentecostal Church. Funeral services will be Friday, November 10, 2017 at 1 p.m. at White Hall United Pentecostal Church with Reverend Chris Dixon officiating.
