George Raymond Ison, Jr.

George Raymond Ison Jr., of Rogers, passed from this life on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice House in Bentonville. He was 75 years old. Visitation is at 12 noon followed by a funeral service on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Holt Memorial Chapel, in Harrison. Pastor Paul Price will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Pallbearers are Dale Chappelle, Payton Chappelle, Cade Chappelle, Joshua Lynch, Benjamin Lynch, and Joshua Tolson. The son of George Raymond and Bertha Melvinia (Brady) Ison was born on March 1, 1942 at Little Rock, Ark. George was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of The Church in Lowell, Ark. His parents; and one sister, Sandra Ward preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Kenna Sue (McClain) Ison; two daughters, Kelli Smith and husband, Aaron and Courtney Tolson and husband, Joshua, all of Rogers; three grandchildren, McKenna, Braison, and Tippit Tolson; one brother, Raymond Ison and his wife, Charlene, of Hot Springs; and one sister, Beverly Hubbs, of Little Rock.
