Cecil "Pete" Glenn, 80, of Springdale, died Friday, Nov.17, 2017, at his home. He was born March 8, 1937, in Prairie Grove to Elmer and Mamie Ralston Glenn, and grew up in Farmington. Pete invested in others and loved to build relationships. He was a longtime, active member of Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, and enjoyed golfing and time in the outdoors. Above all he was devoted to God, his family and church. He is survived by his wife, Imogene (Self) Glenn, whom he married April 24, 1959, in Springdale; two sons, Randy Glenn and wife Amy, Doug Glenn and wife Kim; and four grandchildren, Caleb, Sarah, John and Rachel, all of Springdale. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jack, John and Robert Glenn; and four sisters, Dorothy Rosebury, Louise Arney, Wilma Mounce and Barb Shepherd. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Phillips Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. Interment will be at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will 6-8 p.m. this evening at the church. Memorial contributions may be made for the building fund at the church, 3074 S. 48th St., Springdale, Ark., 72762.
