Virginia White

Virginia Bevens White, age 74, of Benton; passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017. She was born March 27, 1943 in Russellville, Arkansas. Mrs. White was a retired school teacher from Benton Junior High. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Benton, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Tuesday Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce Bascom Bevens and Martha Margaret Bevens; her husband, Thomas Bartow White and a half-brother, Walter B. Bevens. She is survived by her son, Brock Bartow White and wife Stacey of Fayetteville; brother, Bruce Boswell Bevens and four grandchildren, Sadie, Sawyer, Scarlett and Stetson White. Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 22 at the First United Methodist Church in Benton with services beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at New Rosemont Cemetery. Rev.
