Henry Bierbaum, 79, of Hamburg, died Friday, Nov. 24, 2017. Mr. Bierbaum was a native and life long resident of Hamburg. He graduated in 1956 from Hamburg High School and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He worked as a rural mail carrier for the United States Post Office for over 40 years and he was a Gun Smith. Mr. Bierbaum was an avid supporter of Hamburg High School Athletics and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was an outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of the Triple T&B Hunting Club in Bradley County. He is preceded in death by a son, Daniel Bierbaum; his parents, Walter and Bertie Lee Ludlam Bierbaum and two brothers, Fred and Billy Bierbaum. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lucille Barnett Bierbaum; a daughter, Anita Bierbaum both of Hamburg; a son, Bryan Bierbaum and wife, Kristi, of Shreveport, La.; two grandchildren, Parker and Bella Bierbaum and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 27, 2017, at the First Baptist Church of Hamburg with Dr. Bobby Pennington and Bro. Josh Luellen officiating. Burial will be in the Hamburg Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Organ Fund, P.O. Box 352, Hamburg, Ark., 71646. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
