Virginia Baker Long Tefteller

Virginia Baker Long Tefteller, 77, of Tillar, Ark. passed away October 1, 2017. Virginia was born in Kelso, Ark. to the late Robert and Ophelia Derrick Baker. She worked as the School Secretary at Tillar Public Schools for seventeen years. Virginia loved to sing and enjoyed playing the piano. She also enjoyed caring for her pets, reading and cooking for her family. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Earl Long and her son Butch Long. Survivors include her husband Jerry Tefteller of Tillar, Ark.; daughters, Lorrie (Rusty) Meggs of Sheridan, Ark., Renee (Richard) Baxter of Back Gate, Ark., and Jennifer (Shawn) Simmons of Ashdown, Ark.; sons, K. Scott (Tammy)Tefteller of Piperton, Tenn., R. Scott (Donna) Tefteller of Stuttgart, Ark. and Chad (Lora Lee) Tefteller of Little Rock, Ark.; brother, Bobby (Gloria) Baker of Arkansas City, Ark.; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Griffin-Culpepper Funeral Service in McGehee, Ark. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at McGehee Church of Christ with Bro. Rickey Eppes officiating. Burial will follow at Tillar Cemetery.
