Norma P. (Toni) Morris Hill, 96, of Conway was called to her Heavenly home on Sunday morning, October 8, 2017. She was born August 18, 1921 in Little Rock, AR to Edward and Flora Morris. She was the second born of eleven children in the Morris family. She worked with her sister, Anita Croswell, in a detonator plant in Jacksonville after high school. She then went to Blytheville where she was employed as a riveter to repair training planes, the AT-6 and BT-13. Norma married Warren F. Hill on October 11, 1943, while he was home on leave from military service. She was a faithful pastor's wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother as her husband's career took them too many faraway places from Australia to the Philippine Islands to Ankara Turkey. After his retirement, she lived in Arkansas with her husband until his death in 2001 where she loved to garden, read and crochet many gifts to share with family and friends. Norma is survived by a son, Roy Hill (Marla) and daughter, Hope Holden (Tracy). Grandchildren: Melanie Roewe Schultz (Mark), Jason Davenport, Dustin Hill (Natalie), Darren Hill (Jennifer), Danny Hill (Sara) and David Hill (Brittany). Great Grandchildren: Morgan Davenport, Brian Davenport, Brock Hill, Anna Grace Hill, Emma Hill, Lily Hill, Caroline Hill, Andrew Hill, Luke Hill, Dylan Hill and Katelyn Hill. A sister Martha Albritton, and a brother Ralph Morris. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a host of special friends. Norma was also preceded in death by her Parent, Edward and Flora Morris; Daughter Rebecca Hill; Grandson, Brian Davenport; Sisters: Alta Payne, Nita Croswell, Margarite Hanna and Sherry Baldwin; Brothers: Edward, Bill, Richard and Ronnie Morris. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 11, 6-8 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway. Her Funeral will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Griffin Leggett with burial to follow at Jackson Cemetery, Hartford, Ark. Pallbearers are Jason Davenport, Dustin, Darren, Danny, David and Brock Hill. Honorary pallbearers are Melanie Schultz and Morgan Davenport. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to BMAA Missions through Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, P.O. Box 10220, Conway, Ark. 72034.
