Lanora Lelia Stogner, 84, of McKinney Texas died October 7, 2017. She was born December 11, 1932 in Brentwood, Arkansas to Wallace and Kathryn Drummond Parnell. She worked in sales for Campbell Bell and Dillards department stores. She was an avid sports fan, following the Razorbacks, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers to name a few. Lanora organized the Muscular Dystrophy campaign in Joplin Missouri. She was a card holding member of the Cherokee Nation. She was preceded in death by her husband, Les Stogner. She is survived by her son, Dwight Engler of Orange Park, Fla., daughter, Kay Earnhart and son-in-law, Mike of McKinney. Texas, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 at Baptist Ford Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Funeral Chapel.
