Mary Elizabeth Prince

Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Prince, age 90, of Jacksonville passed away on October 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy R. Prince, and her daughter Charlotte Jean Spivey, both of Jacksonville. Beth provided love and support during her husband's military career, raised a family, and still found time for her own career in Civil Service, where she worked in accounting for the Army/Air Force Exchange Service and Military Pay, most recently at Little Rock AFB. After retiring, Beth doted on her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, providing all a lasting memory of love, support, compassion, and strength. She will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her son, Cecil Don Prince of Heber Springs, three sisters, Cora Hill and Marie Holcomb of Delight, Ark.; and Vestal Andrews of Ozark, Ala.; six grandchildren, Carolyn Johnson of Rapid City, S.D.; Dawn Jenkins of Heber Springs, Ark.; Charles Prince, Anthony Prince, James Spivey, and Lee Spivey all of Jacksonville, Ark., 10 great-grandchildren, Kayla Prince, Maisie Prince, Lillie Prince, all of Ward, Ark., Ethan and Beonn Prince of Sherwood, Alyssa and Kendall Uphoff of Heber Springs, Emilee Spivey of Jacksonville, Tarah Myron and Clinton Nelson of Rapid City, S.D. and one great-great-grandchild. Graveside services will be 12 noon, Monday, October 16, 2017 at Little Rock National Cemetery.
