Tonnie O. Crisp, age 76 of Mineral Springs, Arkansas, passed away, Wednesday, October 11, 2017 in Nashville. He was born March 24, 1941 near Nashville to the late James Cullie and Amanda Mae Campbell Crisp. He was a retired Poultry and cattle farmer, and had several other business adventures during his life. He was a member of the New Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He dearly loved fishing, hunting, going places with his wife. He also loved playing pool, and bowling. He loved his farm and had several fishing and pool trophies that he had won over the years. He always caught the biggest and best fish. Preceding him in death other than his parents, was five brothers; Clyde, Kelton, George, Calvin, and Charles Crisp. One sister; Gertie Lee Couch. His survivors include the love of his life for over 58 years, his wife Edrie Morgan Crisp of Mineral Springs. Two daughters; Becky Handsaker of Mineral Springs, and Brenda and husband Skip Hobbs of Nashville. Three sisters; Ivaylene Murphy of Indianapolis, Indiana, Linda Faye Spanhanks of Texas, Gennie Sue Carpenter of Magnolia, Arkansas. Three brothers; J.T. Crisp of Nashville, Wayne Crisp of Mineral Springs, and Hansford Crisp of Mineral Springs. Five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. As well as a large host of other family and friends. Services will be Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Nashville with Bro. Wayne Reed officiating. The family will receive friends at Nashville Funeral Home on Friday night from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to New Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
