Gene Culver

Eugene "Gene" Culver, 85, of Springdale, passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born on September 24, 1932 to Comar and Minnie Lee Culver. He served in the United States Army. Gene was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harold Culver and J.W. Culver; and one son, Donnie Smith. He is survived by his wife, Jeanetta Wages Culver; one daughter, Athena Sackett; two sons, Rick and wife Amy of Springdale, Scott and wife Lisa of Springdale; two brothers, Johnny and wife Judy of Paris, Arkansas, and Thomas Culver who passed the following day on Sunday, October 15; grandchildren, Cody Culver, Shelby Culver, Mallory Culver, Phillip Culver, Holly Culver, all of Springdale, Casey McClendon of Durango, Colorado and Nicholas Sackett of Springdale. Visitation services will be from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday at Westfield Chapel.
