Myra Sue Webb McCool

Myra Sue Webb McCool of Prattsville, Ark., was born Oct. 31, 1940, in Husky, Ark., the daughter of the late Howell and Mamie Parker Webb. She was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville. Sue had formerly worked at the Employment Office of Hot Springs. She had a gift for gardening, and enjoyed growing beautiful flowers. She also enjoyed expressing herself in painting and quilting. She and her late husband Pender, loved traveling as well. Her greatest joy was making sweet memories with her family. Mrs. McCool died Friday, Oct. 20, 2017 at Alcoa Pines Health and Rehabilitation, in Benton, Ark., at the age of 76. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Pender" McCool, who died June 9, 2017, a grandson, William Joe McCool, brothers, Odell Webb, Lyndell Webb, Orville Webb, and Vernard Webb. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Brett William and Linda McCool of Hot Springs, Traye Douglas and Alisha McCool of Greenbrier; daughter and son-in-law, Joni Carol and George Lee of Little Rock; brothers, Don Parker of Rogers, Lionel Webb of Alexander, and Charles Webb of Poyen; sisters, Marguerite Morrison of Fort Smith, and Carolyn Stuckey of Poyen; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a host of other relatives, and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017, at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville, with Bro. Don Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville. Visitation is Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home.
