Robert L. Coffey Jr.

Robert L. Coffey Jr., 70, of Lonoke, passed away October 21, he was born November 17, 1946 in Lonoke, to the late Robert L Coffey, Sr. and Lillie V. Coffey. After spending his childhood in Lonoke, Robert enlisted into the United States Army serving in Vietnam. Robert left the Army in 1968 and settled in Buffalo, N.Y. where he worked for the Ford Motor Company until his retirement in 1999. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his brothers of the AfroDogs Motorcycle Club where he was a member eventually becoming President. The AfroDogs were showmen, and Robert was one of the best. He entered and won numerous motorcycle competitions showing off his favorite bike, Nasty Girl. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Greg Moses, and two grandchildren Jayden and Jillian Robinson. He leaves to celebrate his life his children, Delisa Robinson (Jerome), Marcus Judkins, (LaToya), Felicia Garner, Monyette Coffey, Bernardo Amaro (Joella), Tionne (Kim) Coffey, Janice Jenkins (Terrance), and Teona Coffey, Siblings, Cora Coffey, Joyce Waller, Taryn Smith, Lynette Allen (Donald), Kevin Moses (Cheryl), Bishop Kim Moses (Rachelle), Mark Coffey, stepmother, Margaret Kirkland and special friends and neighbors Curtis and Peggy Williams, twenty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday October 26, at New Jerusalem COGIC, Lonoke, Bishop K L Moses officiating: visitation one hour prior to service at the church, interment at Lonoke Cemetery with Military Honors.
