Gertrude Swift

Gertrude "Trude" Grosshuesch Cobb Swift of Rogers, born Dec. 6, 1923, to Calvin and Alice Kuhlman Grosshuesch, died Oct. 28, 2017. Trude grew up in Klemme, Iowa. She was a nurse for 25 years following graduation from Deaconess School of Nursing in Marshalltown, Iowa. She lived in Rogers for 50 years and was a charter member of First United Methodist Church. Trude was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cal, Ozzie and Ed and two husbands, Cecil Cobb and Charles Swift. She is survived by her brother Ruben, step-daughter Cecilie Mattison, and granddaughters Lindsey and Annie.
