Wanda Jean Sartin Roddy

Wanda Jean Sartin Roddy, 89 went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2017 in England, Ark. She was born on August 30, 1928 to the late Clarence and Vicie Sartin in Atkins, Ark. She was a secretary for the Arkansas Finance and Administration and a homemaker. She was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church of England, Ark. and lived in England 16 years. Mrs. Roddy was PTA President, belonged to a square dancing club. She enjoyed quilting, reading, loved spending time with her Grand Kids and Great Grand Kids. She also loved to find great deals at yard sales. Mrs. Roddy loved her church family and traveling in their motor home. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Walter Andrew Roddy, a son David and three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her son, Walter Andrew Roddy II and his wife Stacie, one daughter, Carolyn Roddy Kimbrell and husband Ivan and brother, Carroll Sartin, four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and her little dog "Baby." Visitation will be Wednesday November 1, 2017 from 1-2 p.m. with Funeral Service at 2 p.m. both at Landmark Baptist Church in England, Ark. Burial will be at Mulberry Cemetery in England. Wilson Robison Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Landmark Baptist Church.
