Savanah Jernigan

SAVANAH JERNIGAN, 87, of North Little Rock, Ark., departed this life on Sept. 3, 2017. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital for over 30 years as a nurse. Savanah always loved helping others. She leaves to mourn her passing her youngest daughter, LaVerne Walker of Houston, Texas; four sons Henry Jernigan Jr., Holliest Jernigan, Edward Jernigan and Hugh Jernigan, all of North Little Rock, Ark.; two grandchildren, Delvin (LaNiya) Walker of Houston, Texas and Darius (Margaret) Walker of Los Angeles, Calif; sister LeAnna (Travis) Matthews of Los Angeles, Calif.; three great-grandchildren, Dayonah, Darren and Dakota Walker, all of Houston, Texas; niece and nephew Lisa and Marlow Matthews of Los Angeles, Calif.; former son-in-law, Jimmy Walker of Little Rock, Ark., and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 at Larry G. Acklin Funeral Home. Interment St. Matthews Cemetery in Kerr, Ark. Services entrusted to Larry G.
