Clinton Ferguson

Clinton Ferguson, 80 of Pine Bluff, passed away, Thursday, September 14, 2017. Born July 7, 1937 at Tomato, Arkansas, he was a son of the late Bruce Ferguson and Mary Studdard Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was a minister in the Church of the Nazarene, having pastored at churches in Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, Mississippi and Arkansas. Before receiving his calling to the ministry, Mr. Ferguson was a police officer with the Blytheville Police Department after retiring from the United States Navy. In addition to his parents, He was preceded in death by his first wife, and mother of his children, Jean Rigsby Ferguson; daughter, Michelle Ferguson McDonald; and a brother, Bruce Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Brooks Wilson Ferguson; children, Clint Ferguson (Beverly), and Sandra Parsons (Curtis); stepdaughters, Kim Davis (Lloyd), April Byers (David); siblings, Jack, Betty and J.B.; grandchildren, Amber, Lillie, Chloe, Jason, April, Taylor, Bryce "A.J.", Brewster, Wil, Darcie, Victoria, Brooks, Chad and Kara Lynn; great-grandchildren, Trey, Sean and Chloe, and many other loving family and friends. The family will host a memorial service, Sunday, September 17th, 3 p.m. at Spring Lake Nazarene Church 21607 N. Spring Lake Rd. Hensley, Ark. 72065, with Reverend Phil Stein, Dr. Russell Bransetter and Reverend Hugh Del Camp officiating. Mr. Ferguson will be interred at sea. Online condolences: FullerFunerals.com.
