Gloria Wallace Quinn

Gloria Wallace Quinn, age 93, of Pine Bluff, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. A daughter of the late Hampton and Goldie Meeks Wallace, she was born September 8, 1924 at Pine Bluff. She was a graduate of Watson Chapel High School. Mrs. Quinn was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, and retired from the business office in 1978 after 33 years of service. After retirement, she and her husband decided to sell their home in Pine Bluff and began traveling around the United States. In 2000, they returned to Arkansas and settled in Hot Springs, where they were members of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church. Mr. Quinn died in 2008 and she resided there until 2010. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. In addition to her husband of 63 years, Max Quinn, she was also predeceased by her parents; a sister, Mary Jane Minnick; and three brothers, William Lee Wallace, Jeff Wallace, and John Wallace. Survivors include her children, Beverly Mitchell (Larry) of Watson Chapel, Robert Quinn (Judith) of Conway, Carolyn Quinn of Conifer, Colo., and Janet Dollar (Brett) of Pensacola, FL; a brother, Larry Wallace (Margarette) of Watson Chapel; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; along with many nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held on Monday, September 18, 2017 in Greenwood Cemetery at Rison. Arrangements were by Fuller Hale-South Funeral Services. Online condolences: FullerFunerals.com.
