Paul Denver Rutland

Paul Denver Rutland, age 85, of Jacksonville went to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2017. He was born June 8, 1932 to the late John Thomas Rutland and Alice Rose Rutland. Mr. Rutland was a retired United States Air Force veteran and he later retired from the VA Medical Center in North Little Rock. He was a faithful member of Marshall Road Baptist Church where he was very active in serving the Lord. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jean Rutland, two sisters and six brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Susie Rutland, his son, John (Jessica) Rutland, daughters, Kay (Jack) Tartaglia, Donna Rutland, Sharon Myers, step-daughters; Marcy (Randy) Lindsey, Shelley (Dale) Rowland, his brother, Harold (Glynda) Rutland, one sister, Elner (Bill) Fuller, four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and six step great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at Marshall Road Baptist Church in Jacksonville. Entombment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
