Itha Jeannette Pollard

Itha Jeannette Pollard passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2017 she was 82 years old. Ms. Pollard was born on August 18, 1935 in Benton, Ark to Mr. Emmett I. Pollard and Mrs. Lola Grace Hibbard Pollard. She moved from Saline county to Little Rock as a young child and attended Little Rock Public Schools. She was a 1952 Graduate of Little Rock Senior High. Ms. Pollard attend and graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas in June of 1968 and was awarded a Masters Degree in Business from Louisiana Tech University in 1969. Ms. Pollard enjoyed a long and distinguished career with the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Emmett I. Pollard Jr. and wife Patsy, Forrest H. Pollard and wife Frances. She is survived by two nieces, Linda Pollard Korb and husband Freddy, Ann Pollard Zega and husband Steve, two nephews, Robert Pollard and David Pollard as well as four grand nephews and a host of beloved extended family members and friends. Memorial service and internment will be held Saturday September 30 at 4 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal church in North Little Rock. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to St. Lukes or Camp Mitchell Episcopal Camp and Conference Center.
