Gary Don Wheeler

Mr. Gary Don Wheeler, age 58, of Moro, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Forrest City Medical Center in Forrest City. His death came sudden and unexpected. Mr. Wheeler was born January 28, 1959, in Moro, and was the son of Virgil Wheeler and Maurine Vondran Wheeler. He lived in Moro most all of his life and had been an employee for Riceland Foods and Heritage Communications. Mr. Wheeler is survived by a very close friend of seven years, Cecily Williams of Moro, one daughter, Brandy Wheeler of Lonoke, one sister, Kathy Darlene Wheeler Skarda of Carlisle, one grandson, Ethan Moffett and several nieces, nephews, and many friends. He had two brothers; Carl Wheeler and Bennie Wheeler, who preceded him in death. Services for Mr. Wheeler will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2 p.m., Saturday, with burial in Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna. Visitation will be Saturday beginning 1 p.m. until the time of the service with Brother Cain Wheeler officiating. Stevens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
