Mathilda Josephine Miller Paladino Rossi, age 83, of Jerusalem, Ark., passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018. She was born on February 7, 1935, in Little Rock, a daughter of the late Michael John Miller and Thelma Marie Ridling Miller. She was the widow of Carl Paladino and Andrew Rossi. Mathilda graduated from Wonderview High School and was a former owner/operator of Petit Jean Barber Shop with her husband Carl. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, loved gardening and canning, and was a super grandma. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Joe) Hawkins of Jerusalem, and Patricia (Calvin) Wheeler of Rogers; her daughter-in-law, Terri Paladino of Center Ridge; three brothers, Mike (Jenwyl) Miller of Morrilton, Carl (Bea) Miller of Center Ridge, and Jim (Becky) Miller of St. Vincent; two sisters, Theresa Thomas of Russellville, and Imelda Roberds of Little Rock; grandchildren, John and Keith Hawkins, Hollie and Hilary Wheeler, Angela and Ashley Paladino, Trey and Trevor Paladino, and Antoni and Christian Rossi; stepsons, Ken, Joe, and Larry Rossi; 18 great-grandchildren; and four godchildren. Other than her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by her sons, Ricky and Angelo Paladino; stepson, Richard Rossi; sisters, Rose Marie Miller and Margaret Tantello; and by a brother, Mathias Miller. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church in St. Vincent, with Father James Burnie and Father T.J. Hart officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Center Ridge by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at the Harris Chapel, with visitation following until 8 p.m. Service and arrangements are by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton.
