Larry Dewayne Hutcherson

Larry Dewayne Hutcherson, age 74, of Cabot, died April 8, 2018, in Northwest Medical Center of Springdale, surrounded in love by family. He fought a long battle with diabetes for many years, spending time at his son's home in Farmington over the past 10 years, and various nursing and rehab facilities in NWA. Larry's wish for the family was to love him dearly, but let him go when the time came. From his birth in Tyler, Texas on November 5, 1943, to his death on April 8, 2018, he had a life and love for his family. He also was a caring and faithful husband, father, and grandfather and great-grandfather. He was fun-loving and his quick wit would make you laugh. He valued his time with family and built lifelong relationships with friends. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, golfing, coaching his son's sports teams, and traveling with his family. Mr. Hutcherson, a native of Texas, grew up attending Tyler High School. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Army. Later, he would retire from Knights Grocery of Cabot as a retired Market Manager. It was in Arkansas where he met his wife, Mary Ann Gibson. Some of his favorite memories with Mary Ann included attending local auctions and traveling to Colorado for family vacations. Left to honor Larry and remember his love is his son, Matt (Amy) Hutcherson of Farmington, and Jake (Nicole) Hutcherson of Cabot; four grandchildren, Courtney, Caleb, Eli and Talan; one great-grandchild, Brody. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Gibson Hutcherson. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 700 N. Second Street (501-843-5816). Online guestbook: www.moorescabotfuneralhome.com. The family requests donations be made in Larry's name to American Diabetes Association, at www.diabetes.org.
