Johnnie Leonard Barbee, Jr.

Johnnie Leonard Barbee, Jr., 70, of Tontitown, died on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Northwest Medical Center. He was born August 7, 1947 in Savannah, Ga., to Johnnie Leonard Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Evans Barbee. Johnnie was very mechanically inclined and good with his hands. He was humble, shy, and held himself to a high standard. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, college basketball, and listening to rock-n-roll music. He is survived by his wife, Karen Barbee; one daughter, Leah O'Donovan and husband Tim; one precious grandchild, Molly; and numerous cousins. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, at Temple Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home; online guestbook at www.heritageofnwa.com.
