Mary LaVerne Goolsby

Mary LaVerne Goolsby, 86, died April 11, 2018 at Fayetteville. She was born December 14, 1931, in Rock Island, Ill., and was a retired nurse. Mary is survived by two sons, Paul Goolsby of Huntsville and Robert Goolsby of Wister, Okla.; two daughters, Lynn Goolsby of Huntsville and Jean Foshe of Fayetteville; two brothers, Jim Loomis of Carthage, Mo., and Bill Loomis of Kansas City, Mo.; and one sister, Ethel Stryker of Wheatland, Mo. Mary also leaves behind nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Sparks Cemetery with Brother John Foshe officiating. Pallbearers will be family. Services are in care of Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory.
