Jacob Ryan Proctor

Jacob Ryan Proctor, (Jake), of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away on Saturday, April 14, at the age of 27. He was born on August 20, 1990, in Springdale, Ark., the son of Edward Proctor and Lori Wehrle Proctor. A graduate of Bentonville High School in 2008, he went on to attend Arkansas State before returning home. Jake had been in a longtime relationship with Misty Mahone, becoming an amazing father figure to Tasheana, Daija, Marvin, and Ayden. In his career, he became a traveling trainer for Slim Chickens, in which he greatly enjoyed his travels and meeting new people. Jake is often described as silly and carefree, always bringing smiles to people's faces, and able to connect with friends. Many have often said they felt a close bond as if they were family. Jake's heart was open and loving, always finding a way to enjoy his situations and brining others in. Jake was an avid Eagles fan and was very excited to see his boys win the Super Bowl this year. Jake was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother Mary Proctor, and maternal grandparents John Wehrle and Linda Fisk. Jake is survived by his parents Edward Proctor and Lori Proctor; his sister Patricia Way; brother-in-law Kenneth Way and nieces Lauryn and Ashlyn Way; his paternal grandparents Leroy and Sandra Proctor; and many extended aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were like family. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Ark. The family will have a private burial.
