Sammie S. (Owens) Rhodes

Sammie S. (Owens) Rhodes of Benton, wife of Walter Rhodes, was raised by her mother; Pearl Sharp, Aunt Hazel and Uncle Henry Grinder. Sammie was a long time member of the Northside Church of Christ and a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Walter Rhodes, one son; David Rhodes (Brenda), one daughter; Debbie Hobbs (Tommy), four grandchildren; Tony Hobbs (Jayme), Jason Hobbs (Kerry), Brandi McAlister (Barrett), Chad Rhodes (Melissa), seven great-grandchildren; Olivia Motes (Adon), Jaycee Hobbs, Kylee Hobbs, Jackson McAlister, Grayson McAlister, Elliot McAlister, Jolee Rhodes, Dylan Motes, a great-great-granddaughter that will be arriving in October, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the Roller-Ballard Funeral Home Chapel with Jim Gardner officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
