Charles Doyne Davis

CHARLES DOYN DAVIS, 76, of Jacksonville passed from this life on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018. He was born in May 1942 in Blackton, Ark., to the late Henry Doyn and Suzie Pauline Casteel Davis. Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting and drawing but found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Charline Romine. Survivors include his wife, Janet Davis; children, Diane Kalb of North Little Rock, Rachel Davis of Sherwood, Justin Davis of Sherwood, and Robert Samples of Jacksonville; grandchildren, Shawn Romine, Samantha Evans, Chad Romine, Destiny King, Deandre Plummer, Daniel Davis, Israel Davis, Haley Davis, Hannah Davis and Havana Davis. Other survivors include siblings, Elouise (Billy Ray) Comer of Conway, David (Carolyn) Davis of Conway, Brenda (Jimmy) Shelby of Bryant, and Patricia (Stephen) Haney of Sherwood; seven great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
