Reo Childs

Reo Childs, 94, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away January 31, 2018. He was born December 19, 1923 in Ferguson, Arkansas to the late Homer and Lena Childs. Leo was a great story teller, and he loved to tell jokes. He never met a stranger. Reo was always smiling because he simply loved life. He proudly served his country through his service in the Naval Air Corps during WWII as a navigator. He was preceded in death by twelve siblings; one step-daughter; and one step-son. Reo is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Holly Honeycutt; two grandchildren: Randy Honeycutt and Ashley Sherman; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas E. Childs; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will begin at 12 noon, Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Heber Springs Funeral Home.
