Elvie Risher Belin

Elvie Risher Belin, age, 89 of Hermitage, Ark. died Sunday, February 4th at St. Vincent's Health Care in Sherwood, Ark. She was born October 31, 1928 in Banks, AR a daughter of the late Zack Risher and Leota Atkins Risher. She was the Librarian for the Hermitage Library for many years, was on the Hermitage City Counsel, where she served as recorder, was a member of the Hermitage Baptist Church and a former member of the Circle H. Extension Club of Hermitage. She was also preceded in death by her husband J.C. "Mike" Belin, a son Jerry Belin, brothers Charles Risher, Dan Risher and a sister, Elsie Brewer. She is survived by a son Robert "Bob" Belin and spouse Arlene, Cabot, Ark. A brother, Wilburn "Pete" Risher and spouse Shirley, Salinae, Calif., a sister, Gracie McDaniel and spouse Jud, Paragould, Ark.; seven grandchildren, Scott Belin and Jill, Chris Bennett, Mike Belin and Stephanie, Matt Belin and Amanda, Tawnya Waymack and Don, Rick Boyer and Michelle and Tracie Hill; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 8th at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Williams Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
