Laura Alice Kitchen

Laura "Alice" Kitchen, 91 year old resident of Highfill, Arkansas, died on January 31, 2018 at Arkansas State Veterans Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born on September 10, 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Wilburn Baker Cole and Ethel Jane Walton Cole. Alice married Jack Kitchen on September 20, 1950. She lived most of her life in Northwest Arkansas. Alice owned and worked as an auto upholster for KF Upholstery. She was a member of Rocky Comfort Assembly of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack; a son, Gene Freed; a daughter, Sharon Lee Cross; three brothers, Carl, Marvin, and Ed; and three sisters, Beulah, Della, and Barbara. She is survived by a son, Jackie Kitchen and wife Louise; 11 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jimmy Ray Cole of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Ralph Cole of Monett, Missouri; and Richard Cole of Reeds Spring, Missouri; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Wasson Memorial Chapel, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Douglas Cemetery in Highfill.
