Jackie Dale "Jack" Brown, 54, of Rogers passed away February 18, 2018 surrounded by his family at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. Jack fought, a courageous battle with, pancreatic cancer for the past nine months. He was born March 6, 1963 in Rogers the son of William "Bill" and Alma Sooter Brown. Jack retired from Walmart after twenty-nine years; he worked for the Benton County Road Department for nine years and for Pat Adams Excavation for four years. Jack was an active Board Member for the Avoca Fire Department. He enjoyed going catfishing and running the trot lines, hunting, spending time on his farm. Jack took great pride in making sure that Walnut Valley was well maintained. He is preceded in death his father, Bill Brown. Jack is survived by his son, Braden Brown and wife, Michelle of Rogers; his mother, Alma Brown, his siblings, Bob Brown and wife Teresa, Deborah McDaniel and husband Myles, Linda Weber and husband Joe, Jerry Brown and wife Debra. And one grandson Toby; all of Rogers, his uncle, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday; February 21, 2018 with services at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Avoca Fire and Rescue or Pancreatic Cancer Research, c/o Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers, Ark. 72756.
