Barbara "Bobbye" Hill

BARBARA "BOBBYE" HILL, 80, of Sherwood passed away Friday, February 23 with her family by her side. She was born February 20, 1938 in Cullman, Alabama to parents James and Ethel Goodson. Bobbye and the love of her life, husband Charles, were a military family, living in several cities from coast to coast while Bobbye supported Charles in serving his country. They retired to Sherwood in 1972. Bobbye also worked for Timex, State of Arkansas and Wal-Mart. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles E. Hill and brothers, Jimmy and Johnny Goodson. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Dennis Hill and daughter-in-law, Janice of NLR; sister, Betty Halbrook of Cabot; brothers Jackie (Susie) Goodson, Mickey (Gloria) Goodson and David (Brenda) Goodson, all of NLR. A Funeral Service celebrating Bobbye's life will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, February 27 at Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., NLR with visitation one hour prior to the service.
