Berna Dean (Dena) Moore Crue, 70, of Pine Bluff, Ark., entered the gates of Heaven on February 19, 2018. She passed away peacefully to the voices of her daughter and grandchildren singing to her into the arms of Our Lord. She was born on May 25, 1947 to Bernard William Moore and Mary Minnie Belle Drake Moore. Dena was never afraid of hard work and had the privilege to try on many "hats" before eventually retiring in the early 1990's. Dena had the heart of gold and never met a stranger. She could talk your ear off if given the chance. She always loved to hear the latest joke and loved the color yellow. You could always find her working outside in her flower beds or collecting buttons and antiquing. She was preceded in death by her father (Bernard), her mother ( Minnie Belle), and her brother (Kenneth) Moore. Dena left behind for now her partner in crime and husband John David; daughter, who she called "little SM" Carrie Cobb (Robert Woodward); son, Randy Owen ; three cherished granddaughters, Alannah Sims (Timothy), Kiersten Cobb, and Aliya Cobb; and a host of friends and family. Upon her request a private family memorial will be held at a later date. We would like to give a special thanks to Shawna and Arkansas Hospice for outstanding care during her final months. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten. An online guestbook is available at www.anaturalstatefuneralservice.com.
