Charles Edward Stillwell Sr.

Charles Edward Stillwell Sr., of Clarksville, Ark., was born Jan. 14, 1931, in Mississippi and passed away Dec. 28, 2017, in Paris, Ark., at the age of 86. He was a contractor, business owner, and of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Watson Stillwell; parents, Eddie Stillwell and Hazel Varnell Stillwell; brother, Albert Stillwell; and sister, Geneva Algood. He is survived by his sons, Chuck Stillwell and wife Donna of Clarksville, Jeff Stillwell and wife Julia of Malaysia, Danny Stillwell and wife Debbie of Ozark, and Philip Stillwell and wife Cheri of Georgia; daughter, Judy Grates and husband Bruce of Oklahoma; brothers, Jesse "Buddy" Stillwell of Bald Knob, and Elvis Stillwell of Bald Knob; sisters, Lola Hart of Bald Knob, and Glinda Dunkin of Bald Knob; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held noon-2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, at Hardwicke Funeral Home chapel in Clarksville with Reverend Amos Pledger and Jeff Stillwell officiating. Burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Ark. Pallbearers will be Nathan Stillwell, Brandon Stillwell, Adam Stillwell, Alex Stillwell, Dusty Stillwell, and Chuck Stillwell. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Laster, Danny Hamm, and Larry Moore.
