Margaret Perry Moorman

Margaret Perry Moorman, age 100, of Arkadelphia, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 in Arkadelphia. She was born in Stephens, Arkansas to Lloyd and Gertha Perry and was the widow of Roy Neil Moorman. Margaret was a member of the First Methodist Church of Arkadelphia and retired as director of Food Services for Arkadelphia Public School District. She loved her family, her church, her friends and Arkadelphia. Margaret is survived by one son, Gabe Perry Moorman and wife Joan of Whittier, California; two daughters Ann Green of Bryant, Arkansas and Sue Lewallen and husband Farrell of Keller, Texas; one brother, Warren Perry of Houston, Texas; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 13 at the First United Methodist Church in Arkadelphia with Rev. Bill Cato officiating which will be followed by a reception in the church. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Twin Rivers Health and Rehab for their heartfelt care and support.
