Michael Davidson

Michael Timothy Davidson Sr., 59 of Jefferson, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2018. Born January 22, 1958 at Bradford, Arkansas, he was the son of the late John Henry Davidson and Joyce Marie Lefford Davidson. Mr. Davidson was a member of Kearney Baptist Church where he served as Deacon. He retired from McGlothen Trucking after several years of service. A country boy through and through, he enjoyed the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing or simply appreciating the morning sky. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davidson was preceded in death by six siblings, William Vaughn, James Cloyce, Charlotte Cloyce, Maxine Randall, Mary Helen Cloyce and Jeanette Kearney. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Linda Byrd Davidson; sons, Michael Davidson (Amanda), Warren Davidson and Brian Davidson (Christen); brothers, Warren Griffin and Johnny Davidson; sisters, Ida Reeves and Evelyn Becker; four grandchildren, Krista, Brittney, Joshua and Skyler; one great-grandson on the way; and many other loving family and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, January 15th, 10 a.m. at Cranford Funeral Chapel with Brother Larry Heird officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, 2 p.m. at Bigelow.
