Raymond Ray McConnell

Raymond Ray McConnell, 73, of Springdale, died Saturday, January 13, 2018. He was born February 6, 1944 in Japton, Ark. to Omer Jesse and Ruby Jewell Williams McConnell. Ray retired from Levi Strauss. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty McConnell; brother, Fay McConnell; and nephew, Jeffery McConnell. He is survived by brother, Francis Junior McConnell of Russellville, Ark.; and sister, Helen Smith of Alma; six nieces; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Beard's Funeral Chapel with Ervin Hutchins officiating. Burial will be private.
