James Max Koehler, 89, of Cabot died Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was born March 13, 1928 in Searcy to the late J.M. and Clara Goldner Koehler. Mr. Koehler was a devoted Christian and member of First Baptist Church in Cabot. He served his country in the Army Air Corp during World War II and was a 32nd degree Mason. Most of all, Mr. Koehler will be remembered as a loving husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. In addition to his parents, Mr. Koehler was preceded in death by his wife, Freida C. Koehler, two sisters and two brothers. Mr. Koehler is survived by his daughter, Donna Partridge (Ken) of Gravel Ridge, siblings; Barbara Black of Sherwood, Tommy Koehler of Little Rock and Otis "Fritz" Koehler of Louisiana, grandson, James Brent Easley of Conway and a host of special family and friends. The Koehler family would like to send a special "Thank You" to the physicians and staff at the John L. McClellan VA Hospital in Little Rock. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home (501) 843-5816.
