Joseph Albert Bukowczyk, 78, of Jacksonville passed from this life on January 18, 2018. He was born March 1, 1939 in South Amboy, New Jersey to John Albert Bukowczyk and Sophie Waiter Bukowczyk. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Delores Bukowczyk, sister Mary Chevalier, son Joseph Albert Bukowczyk and daughter Cynthia Perri. Survivors include children, Linda Alt of Chambersburg, Pa., John Albert Bukowczyk and Patty Riser of Ward and sister Patricia Malik and husband John of Woodbridge, N.J. Other survivors include grandchildren, Vincent Perri of Jacksonville, Daniel Alt of Doswell, Va., Amber Bridges of Alexandria, La., Andrew Alt and wife Jennifer of Cumberland, Md., Kristen Green and husband Josh of Cabot, Ashley Moore and husband Steven of Shreveport, La., Ryan Collins and wife Bailey Jo of Austin, and Jordan Cutter of Chambersburg, Pa., along with 11 great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
