Jack D. Craft

JACK D. CRAFT, 77, of Sherwood went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, Jan. 25. He was born in Havana, Fla., to parents George and Virgie Craft. Jack transferred to Arkansas in 1978 while working for Murphy Oil and retired from the oil industry after 40 years of service. Jack was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved collecting antiques, watching NASCAR and rooting for the Alabama Crimson Tide. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Jack is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda McGee; brothers, James Craft and Jerome Craft and his son, Joe Craft. Left to celebrate his memory are his wife of 59 years, Linda Craft; daughter Donna (Mike) Thomas; grandchildren Jackie Craft, Jessica Christman, Jason Thomas, Jamie Thomas and Joseph Craft; six great-grandchildren along with his sisters Julia Hatcher and Sue (Dennis) Johnson and brother Jerry Craft. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock with burial immediately following in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
