Bobbie Anne Atherley

Bobbie Anne Atherley, 84, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 27, 2018. She was born December 28, 1934, in Star City, to Adolf and Pauline Prysock Wimberley. She was reared and educated in Benton. Bobbie was a Teacher Assistant at Broadmoor Elementary and was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Maurice Russell Kerr; a sister, Nora Lavonne Cook; brothers, Harold, Wesley and Sonny Wimberley. Survivors include her husband, Rudolph Atherley, whom she married on July 19, 1958, in Benton; daughters, Pam Atherley of Bryant, Stephanie Maxwell (Todd) of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Debbie Elkins (John) of Pine Bluff; sons, Randy Kerr (Belinda) of White Hall, Chad Atherley (Leah) of Bryant; a sister, Louise Burton of Benton; grandchildren, Brooke, Jennifer, Brandy, Courtney, Shana, Cameron, Reagan, Jacob, Jillian; ten great-grandchildren and her loving dog, Snoopy. Visitation will be Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. at Robinson's. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018, Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son with Reverend Jacob Lynn officiating.
