Juanita Martin Davis

JUANITA MARTIN DAVIS, 92, of Little Rock, passed away June 29, 2018. She was born on October 29, 1925 at Almond, Arkansas, to Alta (Bell) and Cloyse Martin. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Belinda Kay Moore; and a younger sister. She married Elmer Davis and they had 73 happy years together. She was the mother of Jerry Lee Davis, Belinda Kay Moore, Cathy Janette Girard, and Jeffrey Lynn Davis. She is survived by her husband Elmer; two sons, Jerry (Angela) of Sherwood and Jeffrey (Ann) Davis of Beaufort, S.C.; one daughter, Cathy Girard of Bryant; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great- grandchildren. Juanita spent her years as a mother and homemaker. She was an active member of Life Line Baptist Church where she served 21 years as the church librarian. She taught small children for several years until the Lord lead her to teach a women's Bible class. She taught for a total of 53 years. A visitation will begin on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Life Line Baptist Church with funeral services to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Jeff Dial officiating.
