Virgil Lynn Shown

Virgil Lynn Shown, 68, of Cabot, passed away on Tuesday May 29, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Shown, his mother, Joy Carlton, a brother, Kenny Shown and his step-father, Robert (Tex) Carlton. Virgil is survived by his wife, Barbara Shown, his children, Ginger (James) Marshall of Cabot, Holly (Leslie Harvey) of Cabot, Ashley (Jimmy) Driggers of Austin, his siblings, Brenda (Milton) Bloomquist of Cabot, Danny (Marilyn) Shown of Searcy, Rena Carlton, Nathan (Carol) Carlton of Judsonia and seven grandchildren; Alicia, Devin, Peyton, Preslee, Weldon, Lawson James, and Barrett, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday June 2, 2018 at Moore's Cabot Funeral home with interment at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 -8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
