Wilcher Clay Kerr, 78, of Mabelvale, went to be with the Lord June 10, 2018. He was born on September 23, 1939, in Quitman, Arkansas to Vernon "Pete" and Martha Kerr. Wilcher was President and Founder of Kerr Paper and Supply Co. He was a loving and faithful husband for 56 years to his loving wife, Lillian. As a loving and caring father and grandfather he taught and led by example. To a friend in need he was always there to help. In 1986 he founded Kerr Paper and Supply. Though he became very successful he never forgot who he was or what he believed in. To all his employees and customers, he was generous, fair and respectful. He thought of them as family. As a Godly man he walked the true straight line set before him. As a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend he gave us his best. Wilcher was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers; Hubert Kerr and Bill Kerr. He is survived by his loving wife; Lillian Kerr, son; Barry Kerr (Dawna), daughter; Lisa Ginn (Scott), six grandchildren; Austin Kerr, Evan Kerr, Brad Ginn (Madelyn), Sara Ginn (Lance), Mia Ginn, Brianne Ginn, two brothers; Charles Kerr, Ed Kerr (Jan), two sisters; Helen Williams, Mary Ausbrooks (Ralph) and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and business associates. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, June 16, 2018 in the chapel of Roller Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 at Roller Drummond. Pastor Randall Moody will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Wilcher's name to Easter Seals Arkansas, 3920 Woodland Heights Rd., Little Rock, Arkansas 72212 or Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, Arkansas 72210.
