Scouting, led by her mother (and "Daddy Scout" - Jerol), brought many adventures, including two trips to the Appalachian Mountains for several days of overnight backpacking and many canoe trips, including a three-day Buffalo River float trip into the White River. Linda was an excellent musician and played oboe for 25 years, during school and in the Tulsa Community Band and Orchestra as well as countless times at her church.
