Phillip "Phil" James Langley Sr.

Phillip "Phil" James Langley Sr., 67, of North Little Rock, died June 19, 2018. He was born January 19, 1951 to the late Jack Robert and Myra Rainwater Langley in Atlanta, Ga. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Van Langley. Phil originally owned the Red Door Gallery in 1981, where he enjoyed framing, painting, collecting unique antiques and greeting the public and local artists. While Phil had his battles with depression and anxiety, he found refuge in his family and peace in painting, music, and his love of soccer. The family is comforted to know his artwork hangs in many homes, businesses and the Clinton Presidential Library. Phil is survived by his wife, Nancy Caroline Langley; three sons, Phillip James Langley Jr. (Heather) of Austin, Texas, Marc David Langley (Stacy) of North Little Rock and Nick Andrew Hargett (fiancée Kristen Lacy) of Little Rock; daughter, Erin Elizabeth Dail (Brian) of North Little Rock; six grandchildren: Maegan, Luke, Maddox, Henry, Charlie, and Oliver; two sisters, Nina Simmons (Bill) of Huntsville, Ala., and Thelma Lewis (Tom) of Cumming, Ga; and twin brother, Mike David Langley of Hoschton, Ga. Celebration of Life will be at 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, Ark. 72116. Family will receive friends following service.
